Google’s AI independently ranked and indexed the ONLY photo of the legendary Mexican American historical figure, Sal Castro, at this event by placing it as the center photograph on their coveted Knowledge Panel, which showcases the four (4) best images for a given search, indicating a domination of global search results. My photo was showcased for the search query “Ucla Hunger Strike”, even though the image is not tagged with Castro’s name or SEO.

“Monthly Photography Magazine of South Korea” interviewed by publication’s journalist for the April 2019 edition
I was asked about my first-person experience as a photographer in the 1992 LA Riots, and how my point of view was different from the mainstream media’s portrayal of the event for the article “1992 Los Angeles Riots Historical Perspective”. My interview included eight (8) images from my LA Riots Collection, which were published in a 4-page spread as part of a historical showcase of life in 1990s Los Angeles. The 1966 publication firmly cemented me as a published International Fine Art Photographer, as the magazine is the oldest, most esteemed, leading photography magazine in South Korea with a subscriber list that is a who’s who of photographers, artists, curators, museum directors, art critics and art educators.
